With all the offshores and a south swell of marginal amplitude in the water I heard varying reports about how good the waves truely were the last day or two. I've heard that around this area it was marginal at best, reaching shoulder to head high. Down in Orange county I heard that Places like Huntington and Newport were going off. Regardless, I was at work but i'll soon be enjoying a three day weekend to celebrate my first year anniversary.
Oh, and the beach and ocean were awesome today after work. Seemed like Hawaii out there so I went for a swim. Was very refreshing but the temps have dropped a few degrees but not too bad. Caught a few waves bodysurfing but the ankle is still tender. Probably got to give it another week or two before I venture out on a board.
